Why Do I Look Fat in Photographs?
You already now that you are a hottie! But lets's face the fact... Even if you are totally happy with the way you look in the mirror, just to see an unflattering photo of yourself can ruin the day! Don't worry you don't have to read silly things about how to be skinny and starve yourself to death. You just need to know how to get photographed.
1- Say No!
If your photographer is shorter than you and if she is not Annie Leibovitz , never allow yourself to get photographed from below. It is always better if the camera is slightly above you. Don't forget that angels can be your best friend and your worst enemy.
2-Hands on the Hips!
If you want to look narrower from the front, always put your hand on your hips and create some gap by crossing your thighs over each other. It also helps to make your arms look toned and your waist look a little smaller.
3- Turn Sideways!
Have you ever heard the old Hollywood Red Carpet trick? : Position your body 45 degrees and put the arm closest to the camera on your hip. Then plant one foot slightly in front of the other, point your toe to the camera and place your weight on your back leg. Sounds complicated? Than just remember to angle yourself to the camera for a more interesting composition rather than standing straight on.
4- Sit pretty!
If you happen to be on a chair or a couch when someone comes at you with a camera, sit up straight and cross your legs at the ankles - your thighs and calves will look slimmer.
5- Loose it up!
If you think "posing" is the best way to look hotter and skinnier, you are wrong! Loosing up and having a little fun will almost always make for a more flattering snap. Since you’re not trying as hard, there will be less room for error.
